Bear Paw Cabin

History

Bear Paw Cabin  is a delightful private home and part of an original Estes Park homestead. DOGGIE friendly and  located within a few minutes walk into the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park  for hiking, scenery, wildlife and for fly fishing in the famous Big Thompson River. Surrounded by over an acre of Aspens, Evergreens, flowers, wildlife and sounds of the rushing waters of the river, this is the place to relax and unwind.

The “Paw”  was originally designed as two separate cabins and were  combined into one home in the 1980’s. This created a unique floor-plan, known by guests as the “Left Paw” and the “Right Paw”  that offer both a bedroom and bathroom on either side of the home, family room, great room, two fireplaces and allows privacy for extended family and friends.

Kim, the current owner for over 20 years, finished the project with the help of her dogs, family and friends, while keeping  the mountain charm adding updated amenities, creative cosmetics, antiques and lots of “Bear Decor”.

The Bear Paw property is open all year-round and is affordably priced according to the group size and length of stay.

Plus, all dogs are welcome! Woof-Woof-Woof!
